Join us for our annual meeting and conference, held this year in Victoria, BC at the Pacific Forestry Centre.

We are planning to build a session around wildfire and are encouraging submissions in the area around the economics of wildland fire at the intersection with forest carbon and climate change.

It is WFE though so we invite presentations on any topic related to forest or resource economics, management, and policy for our concurrent sessions. Other session themes may include:

  • Bioenergy and bioproducts
  • Public lands issues
  • Innovations in the forest sector
  • Markets and trade
  • Non-market values and valuation
  • And more!

As always, we would like to encourage student abstracts and papers. This has always been an important part of the WFE.

Attendees are responsible for securing own lodging, book soon!

Thanks for being a part of WFE.
